Weddings, Funerals, Moving...oh my!

Big Bad Wolfs Baby
Yes....as above...all is happening! Losing my Nana Eva was hard and still is hard. When I remember she is gone...it's almost unreal. Mostly because me, my parents and my brother didn't attend the funeral. Don't gasp...before you jump to conclusions. We didn't atten because we had my uncle's wedding in Orlando. Okay...Mom tried to call the airline to get alternate arrangements. But due to the bombing in London along with all the other national security issues, it would have cost us $100 per ticket to change in addition to any difference in flight prices if we could get a flight out at all...no promises per Continental...whew...said that all in one sentence. Also...no gaurantee that we'd have accomodations secured when we got there. SO therefore...we proceed as planned to Orlando. But God has a plan and everything happens for a reason. Whatever the reason for us not to be at the funeral...I'll know the day I meet my maker.
All of these 'happenings' has put the homesearch on emergency shut down. On top of it all ....BFN and the very next day...AF!!
Help me Lord...please!

For those of you taking the time to read this blog...thank you.

I'm as complex as they come but aren't we all? When you hit your early thirties it's amazing how you start to look at life quite differently. Family instead of self has become top priority for me in this last year. I'd spent my earlier years trying to 'find myself' which meant getting as far away from my family as possible. Now here I am trying to start my own. tee hee

A few things I am.....
*a daughter, a sister, a wife, a close cousin
* a registered nurse
* a damn good cook
*a lister....everything must be on a list made into a list...etc. to do's
*taught myself how to knit in the last month...loving it too
*crafty...I make invitations using rubber stamps, decorative papers and inks etc
*treetop angels for your Christmas tree
*collect cookie jars (this is new but always something I wanted to do)

just a few things...and much more!

My husband and I just decided to ttc. I stopped my bcp in the month of Feb. 2005. Figured we would actively "get busy" in May. Unfortunately last month was disappointing. Well, I should have expected it since we winged it. But this month I've been watching my ovulation days and cm to determine the days to baby dance. I'm hoping by next week I'll have a BFP!!
It's amazing how you spend most of your teens and twenties preventing pregnancy and the minute you want to get pregnant..it's hard as hell!! I've been on BCP on and off since I was 18.

Well....so it begins...ttc Joey and Wolf's baby. ( Wolf is my nickname given to me by my PaPa when I was a babe. )
